Manneken Pis. A bronze sculpture showing a naked little boy urinating into a fountain's basin. The locals like to dress it up with funny costumes.
Église catholique Notre-Dame-du-Sablon. Church of Our Blessed Lady of the Sablon is a Roman Catholic church from the 15th century.
St Michael and St Gudula Cathedral. “Τhe purest flowering of the Gothic style” according to Victor Hugo, it’s the royals’ favored coronation, marriage, and state funeral spot.
Royal Palace of Brussels. Although the royal family of Belgium now lives at Laeken, the Royal Palace in Brussels remains their official residence and it is open for tourists in the summer months.
Parc du Cinquantenaire. Erected in 1880 to celebrate Belgium’s 50 years of independence, this U-shaped complex consists of a grand triumphant arc and an arcade on each side.
Atomium. Shaped like a cube on its tip, it represents an iron unit cell (9 iron atoms) magnified 165 billion times and symbolizes a firm belief in the scientific process.
EU Headquarters. European Union's administrative center, Brussels house the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the European Commission.
Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Located in the outskirts of Brussels, the basilica features a dome that stands 174 feet tall.
