2Cu Chi Tunnels
Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc site). The Cu Chi Tunnels form one of Vietnam’s most remarkable historical sites a vast underground network used during the war for shelter, communication, strategy, and daily survival. As you arrive at either Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc, you’re introduced to the complex through informative displays, short films, and outdoor exhibits that explain how the tunnels were constructed by hand using simple tools and extraordinary resilience. The forested surroundings, cratered earth, and reconstructed entrances immediately transport you into the wartime environment. Venturing deeper into the site, you’ll explore original or reconstructed tunnel sections, cleverly disguised entrances, air vents, and escape routes that reveal how life functioned below ground.
