    The Kelpies & The Helix

We will walk among giants as we get up close to the magnificent Kelpies. Enjoy the old Scottish stories of these mythical creatures and visit the area where the Gentle Giants worked on the land. The Kelpies are based on a Scottish Folktale, told to keep young children away from any dangerous water edge but they are also a tribute to the Clydesdale horses that worked in 3 industries that are prevalent in this area. The 98 foot high statues are a fitting tribute to the "Gentle Giants" and the detail can only be appreciated when you walk right up to them. There is a visitor centre where the guests can pick up souvenirs and stop for a comfort break.

    Stirling Castle

Stirling castle is considered by most historians to be the most important and historically significant castle in Scotland. This stop will allow out guests to explore the castle and it's magnificent palace. The stories of the castle are older than the castle itself as it changed hands 8 times between the Scots and The English during 400+ years of battles for Scottish independence. There is a free guided tour in the castle as part of the admission cost but when possible the guide will accompany the guests into the castle. This is dependent on available parking. Either way the guests will be able to explore the castle for 90 minutes or so.
