Ethiopia stands out as a truly unique country within the African continent. Notably, for coffee enthusiasts, it is the birthplace of coffee, with its origins deeply rooted in Ethiopian soil. Ethiopia holds the distinction of being the only African nation never subjected to colonial control.

Adding to its uniqueness, Ethiopia operates on its own calendar, featuring 13 months. Ethiopians celebrate their New Year on September 11, and their calendar lags eight years behind the Western world. Ethiopia boasts a distinct alphabet and language, setting it apart from other African countries.

Significantly, Ethiopia is home to the oldest fossil of Early man, a testament to its rich archaeological history. Established in 980 B.C., Ethiopia ranks among the oldest countries on the planet.

We extend a warm welcome to you to explore the beauty of Ethiopia and uncover the treasures of this country as we guide you through its rich tapestry. Welcome to Ethiopia!
