Itinerary

1Imlil
1️⃣ Marrakech → Imlil (1h30 drive) Your guide picks you up from your hotel/riad in Marrakech. Drive through beautiful villages and the Asni valley. Arrive in Imlil (1,740m), the starting point of the trek. Meet your local mountain guide and the mule team. Before we begin the trek, your guide will do a full equipment check to ensure you have everything you need for a safe and comfortable ascent. Any missing items can be rented or arranged in just a few minutes in Imlil before we start walking.

2️⃣ Imlil → Aroumd → Mizane Valley Begin the trek from Imlil heading up to Aroumd village. Walk through walnut groves, terraces, and small Berber villages. Follow the Mizane valley with great views of the high Atlas peaks. 3️⃣ Lunch Break Stop in a quiet spot, usually near the river or on the trail. Freshly prepared lunch by your team. 4️⃣ Continue Trek → Refuge Toubkal (3,207m) Trek through the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch. Short break for tea or photos. Continue climbing gently towards the refuge. Arrive at Toubkal Refuge in the afternoon.

5️⃣ Dinner & Overnight Warm dinner at the refuge. Night in shared dormitory (or private room if available).

1️⃣ Early Start (around 4:00–5:00 AM) Breakfast at the refuge. Start the summit push with headlamps.

2️⃣ Refuge → Toubkal Summit (4,167m) Steady climb over rocky paths and scree. Beautiful sunrise over the Atlas Mountains. Reach the highest peak in North Africa. Enjoy panoramic views over the Anti-Atlas, Sahara Desert, and High Atlas range. Summit photos and celebration!

3️⃣ Summit → Return to Refuge→ Sidi Chamharouch → Aroumd → Imlil Descend carefully back to the refuge. Hot tea and short rest. Lunch at the refuge or on the way. Trek back down through the same scenic valley. Arrive in Imlil in the afternoon. Meet the driver.
