Branching off the mighty Ganges near the Bangladesh border, the Hooghly flows 260km to the sea through a breathtaking part of East India. It was named after the first European settlement established in Bengal in the late 1500s. During the cruise, admire the beauty of the iconic Howrah Bridge, Katgola Palace, and Hazar Duari. You'll also see the ancient capital of the Nawabs of Bengal, Murshidabad, as well as its mansions, tombs, and mosques, surrounded by rice paddies and mango orchards.
