    Amarante will be the first stop. Here, learn about the history of the City and visit the Church and Monastery of São Gonçalo. Appreciate the bridge that is believed to have originally existed in this location, as this was the route of the Roman road that would pass through Amarante, towards Guimarães and Braga. Try the convent sweets at São Gonçalo and Papos de Anjo.
