Jump, rappel, slide, and more on this small-group canyoning adventure at the Salto do Cabrito waterfall. You’ll depart from Ponta Delgada, and when you reach the canyoning area, you’ll have a safety check and briefing. You’ll have wetsuits, helmets, and all your canyoning gear supplied to keep you safe and secure. Your guide will take you through the canyon, showing you the best way to navigate the adventure.

Meeting and pickup
It is possible to provide a transportation service in the Ponta Delgada area for an additional fee.
Transportation to areas outside of Ponta Delgada depends on availability, and an extra charge will be applied according to the location.
Our van will be parked at the previously agreed meeting point. If not, and if you haven’t been informed of any changes, please don’t worry, our guides will be on their way.

What to expect
After a new briefing with a few more instructions, we begin the descent of this canyon, passing through several waterfalls and surrounded by the exuberant nature of this volcanic area.
The descent is made through several rappels (between 4 and 16 metres) and for unforgettable moments of fun, there is also the option of a zip-line. The highest rappel is approximately 16 metres and you can optionally make a jump of approximately 3 metres.
NOTE:
– The exact itinerary including jumps, rappel and other techniques will depend on local conditions and seasons. The terrain, landscape and flow of the stream normally change throughout the year.
