Tohora Bora Bora was the first to introduce the public to whale migration and launch the observation circuit. Simon shares his passion with respect and sensitivity for these marine mammals.
As whales evolve in the natural environment, their observation remains unpredictable. The “launch” option does not ensure swimming and, where possible, involves swimming more than 100 m in the open sea, requiring good physical condition and ease in the water.
The excursion lasts 3h30 in the ocean, sometimes with waves or swell. Launches depend on the behaviour of the animals and on maritime and weather conditions. The safety of participants and respect for whales, a protected species, remain a priority, with strict rules on numbers of people, distances and approaches. Those who prefer can stay on board and watch from the boat.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pickups are in the morning between 7:30 and 8:30 and for the afternoon between 12:00 and 13:30.
The exact time will be transmitted the evening before the excursion around 8:00 p.m.
Only Tohoraborabora decides the fixed time. The client cannot impose his time in a shared tour.
The time will vary depending on the pickup locations of each participant and for afternoon pickups it is possible that depending on the morning excursion that the schedule is changed in the morning of the day of the excursion, but in this case we transmit the information by email or whatsapp to each client.
Free pick-up at your accommodation (hotels, guesthouses, Airbnb). Please contact us if your hotel or guesthouse or Airbnb accommodation is not listed in the hotels we have provided because the pick up will be by boat either at your accommodation if there is safe sea access for the boat, i.e. with sufficient depth, sandy ground, no corals and not on the fringing flat, and if there is a pontoon it must be large enough to accommodate our boats, and if it is not accessible, the pick up will be at the meeting place near your accommodation.

Enthusiast (s) by humpback whales, come and share some unforgettable moments to meet these giant of the ocean. The boat is equipped with a directional hydrophone offering exceptional sound quality for listening to their majestic songs. The humpback whales season runs from where they come to give birth and to reproduce. This tour is led by a guide and captain.
