After we visited the Angkor Thom complex, we will take a break for about 60 minutes for lunch and relax before we start exploring the Angkor Wat temple.
Angkor Wat means city of temples is considered an enormous Buddhist temple complex located in northern Cambodia. It was originally built in the first half of the 12th century as the largest Hindu temple in the world.
If you are not too exhausted and the weather is good, we can climb up Phnom Bakheng hill to watch the sunset. It is optional. Normally we have to start climbing the mountain at 4:00 pm since there is a limitation on the number of tourists.
Please ask the hotel to pack your breakfast because we won’t come back to your hotel until your temple trip is ended. We should depart at 5:00 am to see the sunrise over the Angkor Wat temple. The pick-up time is between 4:20 am to 4:50 am from your hotel.
After you have had breakfast, our local guide will take you to visit Prohm temple well known as Tomb Raider temple or Jungle-temple.
Preah Khan is a Buddhist temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built in the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII to honour his royal father.
Neak Pean was built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII and dedicated to Buddhism.
Ta Som is a small Buddhist temple at Angkor, Siem Reap, erected at the end of the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII. It's a special attraction spot is the east gate ( trees on top of the gate).
Pre Rup is a brick temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built as the state temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman and erected in 961 and dedicated to Shiva lord.
