The House ZEYSSOLFF is one of the few authentic cellars in Alsace, dating from 1870, with about twenty hundred-year-old oak casks each having a capacity of 10,000 L still used for the winemaking of its wines. His great curiosity is the ZEYSSOLFF barrel, made in 1897 for the Paris Universal Exhibition (1900). This barrel is still used today.

La Maison ZEYSSOLFF is located in front of a large parking lot. Easily accessible by train: Gertwiller station (5min walk) or Barr station (20 min walk). Shop accessible to people with reduced mobility but cellar not wheelchair accessible.
What to expect
Continue the visit in our historic cellar, where you will discover centenary oak barrels still used - rare to date , as well as an exceptional barrel of arms presented at the Universal Exhibition of 1900 in Paris.
The highlight of the visit is our immersive 180°film, projected directly onto the barrels thanks to mapping technology, a unique experience in France. This film is not a remake of what can be found to date where we tell the work of the vineyard... But a film about our rather rich history, and about our work philosophy.
The tour ends with a tasting accompanied by a share of kougelhopf.
An authentic, friendly experience awarded by the 2021 Alsace Tourism Trophy and the 2022 Atout France National Wine Tourism Trophy.
