During this private tour you will discover one of the most picturesque areas of the historical centre of Alberobello, Rione Aia Piccola district, where to enjoy the atmosphere of the time past. A stop is provided at the Belvedere, a panoramic viewpoint offering the best fairytale landscape. We'll proceed through the modern city and visit the Basilica of Saints Cosma and Damiano, patron saints of the town, to know about their worship origins. Then, we'll go to Trullo Sovrano house-museum, a two-storey trullo, which still preserves the typical Apulian countryside lifestyle. The tour will end exploring the tourist area of Rione Monti district, characterized by souvenir shops and restaurants located in the trulli, and we’ll have a look of the St. Anthony Church, a typical trullo-shaped church. Finally in a trullo shop you will be offered a tasting of some typical Apulian products such as extra-virgin olive oil, salty and sweet taralli, liquers… This is a private guided tour, but every change must be agreed in advance with the tour guide and any delay reported in due time.
