Meet the guide in the heart of Alberobello, between the 2 historical centers. After introducing the history and origins of the town, we'll visit Rione Aia Piccola district, one of the most picturesque areas of the historical centre of Alberobello, where to enjoy the atmosphere of the time past. A stop is provided at the Belvedere, a panoramic viewpoint offering the best fairytale landscape. After passing through the modern part of the town, we will stop in front of the Basilica of Saints Cosma and Damiano, patron saints of the town, to know about their worship origins. Visit of the Trullo Sovrano house-museum, a two-storey trullo, where to experience the Apulian traditions of the past. (Ticket not included). The tour will end exploring the tourist area of Rione Monti district, characterized by souvenir shops and restaurants located in the trulli, and we'll have a look of the St. Anthony Church, a typical trullo-shaped church. Finally you will be offered some typical Apulian products such as extra-virgin olive oil, salty and sweet taralli... It's a private tour, but every modification must be agreed with the guide in advance, as well as delays must be notified immediately. Thanks.
