This Kilimanjaro 8 Days Lemosho Route itinerary, is a very special itinerary designed for those wishing to make the ascent to the summit in the daylight hours as well as with sun rise. You will pass by Kibo crater rim, and trek to the top of the inner Reusch crater and cross the Shira Plateau. It takes us through magnificent scenery with views of the Great Rift Valley, Mt Meru and Longido. Some wildlife can be seen. The route is more scenic.

Arrive in Tanzania via Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA – JRO) where by Kilimanjaro Brothers staff will be holding a Kilimanjaro Brothers placard who will transfer you to Moshi town, for you to spend the first night at a hotel of your choice. Those who will arrive through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA – NBO) in Kenya, will be picked by Shuttle bus to Moshi.

Drive to Londorossi Park Gate (2,385m or 7825 ft) and climbing to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,700 meters or 8858 ft) Hiking hours: 3-4 hours. Distance: 8 Km or 5 miles.

Climbing from Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira Camp 1 (3,500 m or 11483 feet) Hiking: hours 5-6 hours. Distance: 6 Km or 6 miles.
