Climbing the 6 days Machame route can be done in a minimum of six days (five nights) on the mountain. With an approximation of 62 km/ 37 miles from gate to gate. It is designed for physically fit people with some hiking experience, but plenty of first time trekker use the route as well and do just fine.

Arrive in Tanzania via Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA – JRO) where by Kilimanjaro Brothers staff will be holding a Kilimanjaro Brothers placard who will transfer you to Moshi town, for you to spend the first night at a hotel of your choice. Those who will arrive through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA – NBO) in Kenya, will be picked by Shuttle bus to Moshi.

Descend from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate (1,640 meters or 5,340 feet) for a walk of 3 – 4 hours with a distance of 10 Km or 6 Miles. Transfer to the hotel for summit certificate and cerebration party.
