    Arrival in Baltra – Transfer to Santa Cruz: Highlands & Charles Darwin Station

    Upon landing, a Howlanders representative will meet you at the airport. You’ll then take a shared transfer (no guide) to the Itabaca Channel, where a short ferry ride brings you to Santa Cruz Island, the heart of human activity in the Galapagos. From the dock, continue by shared ground transport (unguided) to Puerto Ayora, where you’ll check into your hotel and have time to rest. After a local lunch, begin your afternoon exploration.

    Take a scenic 30–45 minute walk from your hotel to Tortuga Bay, one of the most stunning beaches in the archipelago.
