If you select the option with transfers, you will be picked up in El Chaltén and travel approximately 18 kilometers (11.2 miles) to the departure point.

If you select the option without transfers, please make your own way to the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure time. Puerto Bahía Túnel is located inside Los Glaciares National Park. At 10:30 am, once the group is assembled, you will board the vessel and begin your adventure.

As you navigate across Lake Viedma, you will sail along the shoreline while enjoying spectacular views of the majestic Huemul Massif. Ice floes drifting across the lake create a truly magical Patagonian landscape. After approximately 40 minutes of navigation, you will arrive at Cabo de Hornos Bay, where you will disembark for a guided, low-difficulty trek. Your guide will set a comfortable pace and assist you throughout the walk. The trail leads to a panoramic viewpoint on the Cape Horn Peninsula, offering breathtaking views of Bahía de los Témpanos (Icebergs Bay). Enjoy a small snack included in the tour before returning to the boat to continue the excursion.

4Viedma Glacier
Back on board, prepare for the highlight of the tour: the approach to the spectacular Viedma Glacier. From the deck, you will admire the immense ice wall in all its magnitude while your guide explains the history and formation of this millenary glacier — the largest in Argentina — located within Los Glaciares National Park. This is a truly unforgettable Patagonian experience.

5El Chalten
The boat returns to the port, arriving at approximately 2:30 pm. If you booked the tour without transfers, the experience ends at Puerto Bahía Túnel. If you selected the transfer option, transportation will be waiting to take you back to El Chaltén, arriving around 3:00 pm.
