We provide free pick-up and drop-off services for guests staying in hotels within the Lakeside area. For hotels located outside Lakeside, a small additional transportation fee will apply based on the hotel’s location. Please share your hotel name and room number after booking. Any applicable transportation fee can be paid directly after the tour.

Join the Tibetan Cultural Tour in Pokhara with Mr. Thupten Gyatso, a knowledgeable guide. Gain insight into Tibetan culture, religion, and refugee life in Nepal. His passion for sharing Tibetan heritage ensures an enriching exploration. * You will visit a Buddhist monastery and learn the meanings of different Buddhist signs and symbols that are so important in their daily life such as prayer wheels, prayer flags, stupas, etc. * We will enter inside the monastery learn and see things inside the monastery. One can also take photos and videos inside and around the monastery.

* Visit a Tibetan refugee settlement. * Learn about Tibet, Tibetan people living in Nepal, and rich Buddhist culture. * Learn about Tibetan Schools and their educational system. * You will walk around the village and see how people live their daily lives. * Visit a carpet workshop to see how Tibetan carpets are made by hand. Our tour guide Mr. Thupten, will take you through the process, explaining each step in detail. * Later visit the carpet showroom to explore a variety of Tibetan carpets with unique designs and colors. * Discover the history of Tibetan refugees at a photo gallery. * Meet a Tibetan doctor and gain insights into Tibetan medicine and have first hand experience of pulse reading. * Enjoy an authentic Tibetan lunch at a local restaurant. Our guests will visit another Buddhist monastery which is located inside the Tibetan village: Over there our guests will attend the afternoon prayer chanting with the monks and hear the horns, drums, conch shell, trumpet, bell, etc., used during the prayer.
