Meeting and pickup
We provide free pick-up and drop-off services for guests staying in hotels within the Lakeside area. For hotels located outside Lakeside, a small additional transportation fee will apply based on the hotel’s location. Please share your hotel name and room number after booking. Any applicable transportation fee can be paid directly after the tour.

Join the Tibetan Cultural Tour in Pokhara with Mr. Thupten Gyatso, a knowledgeable guide. Gain insight into Tibetan culture, religion, and refugee life in Nepal. His passion for sharing Tibetan heritage ensures an enriching exploration.
* Visit one Tibetan Refugee settlement.
* You will walk around the village and see how people live their daily lives.
* You will visit a Buddhist monastery and learn the meanings of different Buddhist signs and symbols that are so important in their daily life such as prayer wheels, prayer flags, stupas, etc.
* Learn about Tibetan Schools and their educational system.
* Visit a carpet workshop to see how Tibetan carpets are made by hand. Our tour guide Mr. Thupten, will take you through the process, explaining each step in detail.
* Later visit the carpet showroom to explore a variety of Tibetan carpets with unique designs and colors.
* Discover the history of Tibetan refugees at a photo gallery.
* Meet a Tibetan doctor and gain insights into Tibetan medicine and have first hand experience of pulse reading.
* Enjoy an authentic Tibetan lunch at a local Tibetan restaurant.
