3Cayo Levantado
Continue our journey until we reach the Samaná boardwalk where we will board our boat to Cayo Levantado, just five kilometers from Samaná Bay. Get ready to enjoy beautiful beaches of brilliant and fine white sand.

Possibility of excursion in the area. Recommended visits: • Rincón Beach A full day of relaxation on a virgin Caribbean beach. • Salto del Limón (40 meters high), 10 km from Las Terrenas. It is accessed on horseback (2-hours ride) and then on foot before bathing in its beautiful waterfall.

Located in the fishing village of Río San Juan, the Gri-Gri Lagoon is one of the largest bird sanctuaries in the country. We'll take a boat ride on this calm lagoon flanked by mangroves as we pass through narrow channels that eventually flow into the sea. We will make a stop at the Cueva de Las Golondrinas, in front of a shallow turquoise cove where you can take a bath. The tour ends at the magical Playa Caletón to enjoy one of the wonderful beaches of Río San Juan.

We will continue towards the City of Puerto Plata but before we will make a stop at Cabarete beach where we will have the possibility of having lunch (not included) with a wonderful view, you will also be able to observe the surfers and enjoy a refreshing mojito.

8Fortaleza San Felipe
Upon arrival in Puerto Plata we will visit the San Felipe Fortress, built by the Spanish in the 16th century to defend the north coast of the country from the English and Dutch, as well as the French pirates who came in search of abundant gold. and local silver. It is considered one of the most important colonial military structures in the Caribbean, it was completed in 1577 and later served as a prison until the years of the dictator Trujillo. Today it is a museum displaying the original cannons facing the Atlantic, ancient weapons, and numerous secret chambers. Then we will visit the Central Park, framed by palm trees and surrounded on all sides by pastel colored Victorian houses.

Get ready to know the first city founded in the New World (America) by the Spanish: La Isabela or Villa Isabela, the first settler of this town was Christopher Columbus, who on his second trip to the Americas in 1494 settled here along with others. 1,500 inhabitants. Here we will also find the Temple of the Americas, or sanctuary of Jesus Christ the Evangelizer, which was the first Catholic church on American soil. This small church is a beautiful reconstruction in it you can admire some relics and religious images of great beauty.

We continue to Montecristi to take a walk through its streets and see the artisan salt factory, La Torre del Reloj, in the form of a mini version of the Eiffel Tower, designed by the French engineer Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, was sent to Montecristi during the town's glory days at the end of the 19th century, and it still works with its original mechanism. Then we will enjoy a spectacular view of El Morro beach.

We will depart for the picturesque town of Jarabacoa, located in the Central Mountain Range of the Dominican Republic, in the heart of the country. Its name is due to the Taino Indians who lived there before the arrival of the Spanish; they called it that, whose name means "land of water sources". The Spaniards came looking for gold and silver to the place, being abandoned by them shortly after. Today many visitors come here in search of cool temperatures, rivers and green landscapes flanked by dense pine forests and coffee-producing mountains.

Stop at Jacaranda before continuing to the capital of the Dominican Republic and one of the oldest cities in the Caribbean: Santo Domingo. we will walk through the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo, the oldest city in the New World. A guide will accompany you during this walk to help you discover the riches of this city with its invaluable colonial past full of culture and history.
