EXPLORING MERZOUGA

Begin the day with breakfast, then set out to explore the area. Today you have two options depending on your mindset and how you feel you want to spend your desert day , first option ,hire a jeep or a 4 weels “ quad” Visit the Gnawa village of Khamlia and learn about Gnawa music and their way of life. Afterwards, journey into the Sahara desert to meet nomad families living under traditional Berber tents. Enjoy a delicious local meal of Berber pizza with a Berber family for lunch. Option two Visit the Gnawa village of Khamlia and learn about Gnawa music and their way of life, Visit the historic city of Rissani, birthplace of the ruling Alaouite dynasty, and its bustling souk, packed with spices, vegetables, and cloth.
