Fantastic grottoes, soaring conical peaks, caverns great and small, plus villas of Emperors and thousands of legends, brush Capri with an air of whispered mystery. Life in Capri lives around the two centers of Capri Town and Anacapri, higher up, where you can reach the island heights by taking the spectacular chairlift that ascends to the top of Monte Solaro (1.932 feet). The Blue Grotto is the most famous sight in the island of Capri, so at least once in your lifetime, you should experience this wonder of nature: hop aboard a wooden rowboat, lay back, and let yourself be carried through a tiny stone portal to another world by your able skipper, who navigates seamlessly under the meter-high cave mouth.In contrast to the intimate space and vivid color of the cavern, are the three peaks further out to sea, emerging from the azure blue water, pointing toward the sky: they are the Faraglioni and are famed for their breathtaking beauty and home of a variety of rare wildlife.

1Island of Capri
Emperor Augustus, was the first to tour the island's pleasures, by nicknaming it "City of Sweet Idleness" and since then Capri has drawn every kind of daydreamer. Just off the coast of Naples and Salerno, between Cape Miseno and Amalfi, a great rock soars like a dream lost in the cobalt blue sea that surrounds it: this is Capri, the Mediterranean jewel, yearned for and exalted in some of the world's most famous lyric poetry. The intoxicating fragrance of flowers, delicate splashes of colour, recollections of a millennial past and a peaceful charm, shattered only by the shrill cry of seagulls, are just some of the magical qualities of this mythical isle.

2Monte Solaro
Capri's most beautiful panorama? Our favorite view has to be that which can be seen from the summit of Monte Solaro, which, soaring 589 meters above sea level, is the highest and most panoramic point on the island. Here the view extends across the whole of the island of Capri, the surrounding Bay of Naples, the Amalfi Coast and as far as the distant mountains of Calabria.

3Giardini di Augusto
The gardens of Augustus, initially known under the name of Krupp gardens, botanical gardens are sites on the island of Capri, in Campania, Italy. The gardens are born in the old property that the German industrialist Friedrich Alfred Krupp Steel in the early twentieth century bought to build his mansion in Capri. Initially the gardens were named to the gardens of Krupp, a name kept until 1918, when the gardens were renamed gardens of Augustus, the name corresponding to that of today.
