What to expect

Udawalawa National Park is the largest animal sanctuaries in Sri Lanka. This tour is a golden opportunity to the visitors because it is a private tours, so they can enjoy wild life naturally, learn from the guide mean while asking questions. The main attractions of the park are water buffalo, wildboar, spotted deer,samber deer,jackal,black-naped hare,samber,mongooses,bandicoots,foxes & gray langers.It is best place to see Wild Asian Elephants throughout the year.There are 500 elephants in the park. Uniqueness of this park is continuously roaming the number of elephants,no special season.Morning & Evening is the best time to visit & amazing sunset of the evening is best for photograph.There are many birds also there such as Sri Lankan junglefowl,sparfowl,grey hornbill,green pigeon,woodshike,swallow & more.
Leopards snaller cats & jungle cats also there.
Booted eagle,common kestrel,harris’s hawk,rosy starling,black-capped kingfisher,wood sandpiper,common sandiper,little ringed plover,western yellow wagtail,whiskered tern,forest wagtail, & citrine wagtail are birds came durig migrant season(November to March).Crocodile, lizards also there.
