Houseboat cruising starts from the Deck at Achamthuruthi and head to the Valiyaparamba Backwaters for an overnight cruise. Valiyaparamba Backwaters is the pride of Kasaragod and is tagged as one of the best scenic backwaters available in Kerala. Fed by 4 rivers, this backwaters includes many small islands in its possession. Nowadays this scenic area provides houseboat facility to cruise through the natural lake beauty.
