You will ride on quiet, twisting roads through the mountains of the Genal Valley, overlooking a chestnut-tree valley, surrounded by rocky mountain crags. You will pass through 'sleepy' white villages - and even a blue village, painted for the launch of the Smurf movies(!) - with time to stop in any of them to wander round and experience a little of Andalucian country life.

Meeting and pickup

Meeting point

Meeting point is the car park of Ronda Train Station. From here we take a short drive up to the Genal Valley where we set you up on the bikes to ride back to Ronda.

End point
This activity ends back at the meeting point.

What to expect

This ride through the Valle de Genal is surrounded by striking limestone mountains and hillsides covered with chestnut trees. Along the way, you will pass by several white villages, including Cartajima and the remote blue village of Juzcar. At the end of the ride, the final summit offers a stunning, long descent of 12km, down the road leading you back into Ronda.
