Meeting and pickup
Meeting point: Cafeteria Casa Valentyna, in the plaza. The café opens at 7:00 AM. Your guide will be inside to welcome you and confirm the lead traveler’s name for easy identification.
What to expect
You will ride an electric mountain bike through the spectacular Gorafe Desert badlands, a unique landscape in Europe often compared to the canyons of the American West. Starting from the troglodyte village of Gorafe, you will follow a circular route of 48 km with 970 m of elevation gain, adapted to a medium difficulty level for tourists.
Along the way, you will:
- Cycle through trails, ramblas and canyons carved by erosion.
- Discover more than 240 megalithic dolmens, one of Europe’s largest necropolises.
- Explore the famous Los Coloraos, where crimson clay cliffs create unforgettable views.
- Learn about the history of cave dwellings still present in Gorafe.
