Itinerary

    We start in Oudtshoorn and drive through a beautiful agricultural area to the Swartberg Mountains. There, we will start our ascent on the Swartberg Mountain Pass and tell you about the interesting facts of the fauna, flora, the amazing Geology of the mountains and the history of the pass. We take enough time to enjoy the scenery, for photo-shoots and for some small walks on the pass for those who wish to stretch their legs.

    A short visit to the picturesque town Prince Albert with its beautiful Cape Dutch, Victorian and Karoo style houses.

    After Prince Albert we drive through the Great Karoo along the northern side of the Swartberg Mountains to Meiringspoort Gorge.

    We enjoy the scenery of the 'canyon' and stop at Meiringspoort Waterfall where the water glides and drops from 60 meters high into a 9 meter deep pool. On hot summer days, we give you the opportunity to take a dip in the water. There are toilet facilities at the parking lot (to put on a bathing suit) Via the town De Rust, we drive back to Oudtshoorn
