We offer pickup from all hotels and riads accessible by car in the center of Marrakech. For establishments located in the medina (areas not accessible to vehicles), a nearby meeting point will be communicated after booking. We will contact you the day before departure to confirm the exact time and place of collection.
The tour begins in Marrakech, a vibrant and colourful city known for its lively medina, souks, palaces and gardens. After the pick-up, travellers will cross the spectacular landscapes of the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), heading south. Along the way, they will take advantage of several stops to admire mountain panoramas, traditional Berber villages and discover the first kasbahs of southern Morocco. This first day sets the tone for a journey rich in contrasts between culture, nature and heritage
Before arriving at your hotel for the night, you will visit the magnificent Dades Gorges, famous for their amazing rock formations, such as the famous “monkey fingers”, and their spectacular cliffs sculpted by erosion. You will take a winding road with incredible panoramic views of the valley. A short walk will allow you to enjoy the natural beauty of the place and observe local life in the small Berber villages. It’s a perfect moment for photos and to feel the authentic soul of southern Morocco.
Travellers will arrive at the Todgha Gorge, a spectacular canyon with vertiginous limestone cliffs, up to 300 meters high. They can walk along the river, surrounded by towering mountains, and enjoy the fresh air and stunning scenery. It is the ideal place for a photo break and an immersion in nature before heading back to the desert.
Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will take a camel ride through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset. After this magical experience, you will return to camp to spend the evening under the stars, with a traditional dinner and Berber music around the fire.
After breakfast at the camp, you will take the road to Ouarzazate. Along the way you will visit the town of Rissani, famous for its traditional market and authentic atmosphere. Then you will cross desert landscapes to the village of Nkob, where you will have a lunch break. In the afternoon, you will follow the beautiful Drâa valley, with its palm groves and typical kasbahs, before arriving in Ouarzazate to spend the night.

From Ouarzazate, you will visit the famous Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will then cross the beautiful valley of Ounila, known for its colorful landscapes and Berber villages clinging to the mountains. You will stop to discover the Kasbah of Telouet, former residence of the Glaoui, rich in history and architecture. After this cultural immersion, you will cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass in the High Atlas before arriving in Marrakech at the end of the day, marking the end of the circuit.
Travellers will visit the majestic Kasbah of Telouet, perched in the Atlas Mountains. Former home of the mighty Pasha El Glaoui, this kasbah tells the fascinating history of Morocco through its corridors, richly decorated living rooms, sculpted ceilings and traditional mosaics. They will have the opportunity to discover the unique architecture of the place, between Berber tradition and Andalusian influences, while enjoying a panoramic view of the valley of Ounila. An essential cultural and historical stage of southern Morocco.
At the end of the day, you will arrive in Marrakech and will be dropped off at your riad or accommodation, marking the end of this magnificent tour through southern Morocco.
