Located on the foothills of the Zerhoun massif, 28 kilometers from Meknes, Volubilis takes its name from the Berber word Oualili, which designates the colourful flower of bindweed, a plant abundant in the region. The Roman city of Volubilis rises before you with its remains, its white marble columns, its temple and the haughty silhouette of its triumphal arch. It is the largest archaeological site in Morocco with 18 hectares, accessible to the public on a total area estimated at 40 hectares.

We start our thrilling adventure of the desert early in the morning, it’s an 8 hours ride including stops. We cross Moroccan Middle Atlas Mountains. Begin with a stop in Ifrane, a Moroccan ski resort. Enjoy the view of the beautiful cedar woods, full of Barbary Apes.
Midmorning, you cross the 6,000-foot pass and continue west toward the great Sahara. Next stop would be for lunch in the village of Midelt.
We approach Erfoud, enjoy views of the remarkable Ziz Gorges and vast valleys. Afterwards, you journey into the Sahara Desert, with a stop to share tea with some welcoming locals in a Berber tent. You'll even have the opportunity to enjoy a camel ride, settle in your private tent in our luxury camp under the stars, witness an incredible sunset and have some rest. Later, enjoy traditional music under a canopy of stars and have a delicious meal around fire.
Early in the morning, right after breakfast, we leave the camp and make our way to the lovely oasis of Tinghir for lunch, We visit its Mellah gateway and then head for the spectacular Todra Gorge, a deep ravine carved by the Todra River over millennia.
There'll be time to marvel at this sight before you continue to the Dades Valley, where roses bloom in profusion in springtime. The locals make good use of the prolific flower by producing rose water here. That’s around 6 hours including stops.

Next, make your way to the magical city of Marrakesh. 3 hours until arrival.
