    Cape Town to Knysna, Garden Route

    Cape Town

    Collection from the Guest's hotel/guest house will be at 6:30am by a qualified tour guide/driver in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle. We travel on the N2 through Elgin and pass through small towns like Caledon, Riviersonderend and Riversdale. We stop in Albertinia at the Aloe Vera factory (20 minutes) for coffee and a bit of shopping.

    Botlierskop Tented Lodge

    From there we proceed to Botlierskop Game Farm where we will enjoy lunch between 13:00 and 14:00pm. This will be followed by a 2 to 3-hour game drive at 14:30pm in an open 4×4 truck. This is a unique occasion to fully experience the Big 5 as well as an off-the-beaten-track 4x4 drive.

    Knysna

    After the game drive we set off for Knysna, passing through the scenic towns of George, Wilderness and Sedgefield. After check-in at the accommodation and freshening up, your tour guide/driver will be available for dinner transfers between 18:00 and 20:00pm. Thereafter, guests will be dropped off at their hotel/guest house.

    Garden of Eden

    Collection from Guest's hotel/guest house after check-out and breakfast. We explore the Knysna Heads, drive to the top of one of the heads and down to the beach. We stop at the Garden of Eden for a guided walking tour of approximately 15 minutes.

    Thereafter we dedicate an hour to admire the largest bird sanctuary in the southern hemisphere, Birds of Eden and also visit Monkey land sanctuary.

    Tsitsikamma National Park

    From there, we will proceed to Tsitsikamma National Park where we will take the 900m hike to the Storms River Mouth and take a walk on the suspension bridge across the Storms River. This is an amazing experience for nature lovers. Lunch will also be served here at the Cattle Baron restaurant.

    Oudtshoorn

    We depart from there for Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich capital. We overnight in Oudtshoorn at the foot of the Swartberg mountain. Dinner will be enjoyed at the hotel in Oudtshoorn.

    Oudtshoorn to Cape Town

    Cango Caves

    Collection from Guest's hotel/guest house after check-out and breakfast. Our first stop is at the Cango Caves for a Heritage guided tour of these age-old caves.

    From there we will travel to the Cango Wildlife Ranch where we will join a guided tour and see various animals. The Cango Wildlife Ranch is home to more than 90 species of animals. Anything from the giant White Bengal Tiger to the Pygmy Hippos can be found here.

    The tour culminates with a stop at the Safari Ostrich Show Farm. Here you will join a 4x4 safari game drive to view the ostriches. Oudtshoorn is known as the ostrich capital of South Africa. This tour will be followed by lunch at the Ostrich show farm restaurant.
