We pick up at all hotels, guest houses and vacation rentals in Cape Town and surrounds as well as the Cruise ship terminal in the harbour and Cape Town Airport.
Pick up at 8:30am at your hotel and travel to Table Mountain cableway station to take the Cable Car to the top of the mountain for a guided tour. Table Mountain is one of Cape Town's most iconic attractions and it is little wonder why it is called one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Where else in the world can you find a mountain in the middle of a City.
Take a boat to Seal (Duiker) Island from Hout Bay Harbour and see the Cape Fur Seals. Note that this excursion is optional and weather dependant.
We take a drive along Chapman's Peak, one of the most scenic roads in the world. We stop at the viewpoint for a photo opportunity and some amazing sightseeing. Note that a drive through this spectacular route depends on whether it is operational.
Visit the African Penguins colony at Boulder's Beach. Take a walk on the boardwalk and you will soon see why it is impossible not to love these enchanting sea creatures, frolicking along Boulder's Beach, Simon's Town. An optional lunch stop for your own account can be enjoyed at one of the nearby restaurants. Please advise whether we can assist with a booking.
Meet the monument of Just Nuisance, the Great Dane dog who made a name for himself in the South African Navy situated in Simon's Town, and hear more about his amazing story.
Arriving in the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve, we explore the Dias Cross, some fauna and flora and see the meeting point of the 2 currents namely the cold Benguela Current and the warm Agulhas Current. You may also encounter some baboons and other wildlife.
Take an optional Flying Dutchman Funicular to the Cape Point Lighthouse or you may choose to take a hike to the lighthouse instead. This is an easy walk an a minimal fitness level is required. Please note that should you wish to take the Funicular, this will be for your own account.
Our return route is via the Old Cape Road passing the coloured houses in Muizenberg Beach. Guests will be dropped off at their accommodation after the tour at approximately 18:00pm.
Guests will be picked up at their accommodation at 8:00am and transferred to the ferry departure point at the Nelson Mandela Gateway in the V & A Waterfront. The tour guide/driver will not be accompanying the guests on the boat or at the island as there will be a sight guide on the island who will give them a guided tour. At 9:00am, board the ferry boat to set sail to Robben Island. The entire tour takes up to 3.5 hours including ferry journey times. Upon reaching the island, disembark at Murray’s Bay Harbour and take a brief walk to the bus that will transport you around the island. A former political prisoner will give you a site tour, including a viewing of Nelson Mandela’s cell. Between 12:30 and 13:00pm, guests will return to the Clocktower Precinct at the V&A Waterfront, where they will met by their tour guide/driver.
We embark on a drive-by City Tour and begin in the heart of the city in Adderley street where you will view historical monuments like Bartholomew Dias, Jan van Riebeeck and Zackarias Waganaer Reservoir. Thereafter see some heritage museums like the Slave Lodge and Cape Castle. View the City Hall and the Company Gardens and proceed past the House of Parliament. Stop at the Bokaap where you will see the famous Colourful houses in the Cape Quarter and stop to take some photos and greet the locals if they are in sight.
