What to expect

Udon, tempura, and gyoza are a match made in culinary heaven—and you’ll learn to make them all in this hands-on cooking class in Tokyo! Guided by Emi, a passionate local cook, you’ll start your adventure at a cozy studio near the station. After meeting your host, you’ll roll up your sleeves and dive into making everything from scratch: hand-kneading udon noodles, preparing dashi, frying crispy tempura, and folding gyoza with your preferred filling—minced pork, shrimp, or vegetables. Once everything is ready, sit down to enjoy your handmade meal together. You’ll also receive a recipe booklet in English so you can recreate the dishes at home. During the busy spring and autumn seasons, the studio tends to fill up quickly—so groups of three or more are encouraged to book early.
