You can admire the artisanal tradition of alabaster, the Palazzo dei Priori with its medieval frescoes and bell tower, the Cathedral of Volterra, and the Roman Theatre complex. The Guarnacci Etruscan Museum houses a rich collection of archaeological artifacts. On the clearest days, from Piazza Martiri della Libertà it is possible to see the islands of Capraia and Corsica.

Visit the "City of Beautiful Towers" and be captivated by its medieval charm. Explore the Duomo, a 12th-century church with frescoes by Ghirlandaio, and Piazza della Cisterna, a triangular square surrounded by ancient dwellings. San Gimignano is also the home of the Vernaccia di San Gimignano, a wine produced from the ancient Vernaccia grape cultivated on the sandy hills of the area.
