Welcome, and thank you for visiting Stirling/Scotland. Freedom Tour allows you to walk in the footsteps of Wallace and Andrew De Moray and relive King Robert the Bruce's Greatest Victory! For Groups of 5 or more, contact Steven.
We are unashamedly proud to live on the Battle of Strling Bridge. Our garden has the best view of where the wooden bridge collapsed during the Battle of Stirling Bridge. This tour option allows you to enjoy refreshments where the Battle unfolded.
Our Vision is that Stirling becomes the most welcoming city in Scotland. We believe our Tours are the perfect way to welcome visitors to Stirling and say thank you for taking the time to remember our great heroes who fought, died, and survived at the Battle of Stirling Bridge and the Battle of Bannockburn.
At Bannockburn, we shall visit the King Robert the Bruce statue and the Carse of Stirling (weather permitting), where Day 2 of the Battle takes place (Sturdy shoes required for the Carse).
We shall communicate in the lead up to the day to ensure pick up / drop off location is agreed.
The meeting point of the tour is the middle of Old Stirling Bridge. Steven will be in touch with more details in the lead-up to the tour. There is some car parking on both sides of the old bridge for those arriving by car.
Steven will chat through options for the itinerary, including other places of interest linked to the Battles. Drop off back at the start or at an agreed location is available.
Walk in the footsteps of William Wallace and Andrew De Moray and relive Scotland's first major victory in the Wars of Independence. Who's this Andy Murray guy you ask? Come along and find out more about the Guardian's of Scotland and their famous victory in 1297.
You can view the location of where the old wooden bridge from the Battle of Stirling Bridge 1297 was located and where it collapses during the Battle.
We shall relive the stories of the Battle of Bannockburn, including photo opportunities at the Memorial Cairn and the Statue of King Robert the Bruce.
