Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of the oldest and largest national parks in Croatia. In 1979, Plitvice Lakes National Park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register. When you get to the entrance, your guide will pick up the tickets, and then you will start your sightseeing. The first part of the path takes about two hours, and it goes from the entrance to the biggest waterfall called 'Veliki slap'. Then head toward the lake Kozjak where you will make a 45-minute break. Here, you'll take a boat over the Lake Kozjak, from lower lakes to upper lakes. When you get to the other side of the Lake Kozjak, your walk continues to the place where you will take the electric train. This electric train takes you from your finish point to the exit of the park. Then depart from Plitvice at around 3pm, and return to Zadar at around 5pm.
