When the first ray of morning light shatters the mountains, the golden Great Wall awakens amidst the clouds and mist— The beacon towers of Gubeikou silently recount the past, while the ridges of Jinshanling snake towards the sky. You may ascend the steps, crushing the mottled autumn beneath your feet, as the pine waves whisper by your ears, Gaze upon the palm prints on the bricks conversing with wild grass, measuring the profoundness of civilization and the vastness of wilderness. Your guide will pick you up around 10:00,It's an about 2.5 - hour drive to Gubeikou Great Wall. Then it's a 2 - hour walk from the parking lot to the 24 - window Tower and then downhill to the valley. You'll cross the corn field, walk uphill and walk along the wall. One and a half hours later, you'll arrive at Jinshanling Great Wall. You can slowly walk and enjoy the sunset at that moment. Have dinner in a local restaurant and then drive back to your hotel.
