    Huanghuacheng Great Wall

    The Huanghuacheng section of the Great Wall is located in Huairou District, about 60 kilometers (37.3 miles) from Beijing. It was so named for the abundant yellow flowers (in Chinese: Huang Hua) that bloom in midsummer. Your professional tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 8:00am and take you to Huanghuacheng by private vehicle (1.5 hour). After arrival, you will start walking along the path in the mountain for about 15 minutes, and you will get on the Great Wall. This section of the Great Wall was renovated based on the original style, steep and hazardous. No parapets on neither-side. Follow by the ridge to the top where you can have a bird-eye-view of the reservoir, the awarding spectacular view of the Great Wall in the mountain and lake. Walking downwards on this part of the original wild part to . The total trek is around 5 to 6 hours, and lunch meal is included in this tour (lunch begins around 2:00pm, and you will be given some free snacks if you are hungry before lunch time). Your professional hiking tour guide will take you the homestay about 1.5 hours drive .

    Jiankou Great Wall

    After breakfast,about 30 minutes drive,you will be village, then you will walk through a forest and walk towards west direction on Jiankou Great Wall. You will find this section of the Wall is rarely visited by the tourists. During September and October, a few Chinese tourists interested in hiking will also come to this place for fun. Jiankou Great Wall is well-known for its steepness. There is one section is called "Ca Bian Guo" which means the wall is so narrow that only one person can go through at a time. Moreover, you will encounter a section of the Wall is named "San Shi Ba Deng", which is with 70 to 80 degree slop. "Mini Potala Palace" is another exciting section of the wall, which is built on the narrow and steep mountain range. Once you reach "sky stairs" there, you will start going down from the Wall. The entire hiking time is about 4 to 5 hours, and you surely will enjoy it very much. After your tour is finished, you will be transferred to the next homestay and stay here two nights.

    Gubeikou Great Wall

    About 30 minutes drive,you will arrive at Panlongshan beauty spot - Gubeikou Great Wall after about 2.5 hours driving. Then you will walk for 30 minutes to General Tower and turn right to highest point,after 1.5 to 2 hours, you will reach the 24-hole Guard Tower. Continue go down to the valley because of military zone,you will see the old house that was built with Great Wall bricks on the way, where the local farmer lived before,we will go through corn field, go up to the hill and go down again to the village,where we have lunch in the local farmer's restaurant.It take 40 minutes after lunch to be back to the wall again,which is Jinshanling Great Wall,It is amazing view ahead.You will take a lot photos here. Keep walking towards east for 1.5 to 2 hours hiking, then you will reach the zhuanduokou where you will exit the Great Wall. you will be transfer back to your Beijing hotel. The entire hiking time for this tour is about 6 to 7 hours.

    Jinshanling Great Wall

    Jinshanling Great Wall

    After breakfast,you will walk to Jinshanling where you went down yesterday.Jinshanlin Great Wall has a strong military defense system. It includes barrier walls, crib walls, blockhouses,emplacements, watch-towers, stone-shooting windows, arrow-shooting holes,cavalry defense walls and so on, which makes China well-protected in old time. When you stand on the Jinshanling Great Wall, you will appreciate how majestic and splendid it is, and you will understand how great and heroic the nation is.It is about 3 hours walking,you will be on the west of Simatai Great wall(East 5- hole tower),and about 30 minutes walk down to the car from here,have lunch in the local restaurant,Drive back to Beijing.
