    Chichen Itza

Chichen Itza is one of the main archaeological sites in the Yucatan Peninsula. Located in the municipality of Tinum, this wonder of the modern world concentrated the economic, political and social activity of the entire area. Chichen, shows the fusion of the Puuc architectural styles and the central highlands of Mexico due to the fact that it went through various construction periods and influences of the different peoples that occupied it, in which the Toltec influence stands out. The Temple of Kukulkan; The most emblematic building of the site was built in honor of the god Kukulkan, hence its name. Kukulkan, is the Mayan representation of Quetzalcoatl. Meet her!
