Meeting with the guide at the Aragonese Castle of Baia. Visit to the extraordinary military fortress built by Alfonso II of Aragon in 1495 to control the gulf. Since 1993 seat of the Phlegrean history museum. After the recent restorations, new exhibition halls have been opened which, through an imaginary journey through the most significant places in the Phlegrean area, will lead to the discovery of this wonderful territory. Following a walk to reach the ancient village of Bacoli, passing through a suggestive view of the sea where the ancient remains of the so-called "tomb of Agrippina" are preserved. Continue on through the ancient center and arrive at the splendid Piscina Mirabilis, a magnificent example of a Roman cistern, the arrival point of the Serino aqueduct built in the Augustan age to supply the military base and the city of Misenum with water.
