    Transfer from Kigali, Rwanda to Bwindi National Park in Uganda

    Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

    Our representative will pick you up in Kigali and drive to Bwindi National Park. The drive to Uganda will go through Rwanda's northern town of Musanze (Ruhengeri). You will then cross over into Uganda via the Cyanika border post. The drive continues through the nearby Kisoro town and finally to Bwindi National Park. The journey should take about 5 hrs. Arriving at Bwindi National Park in the early afternoon will allow you to do optional activities such as a coffee making tour and canoeing at Lake Mutanda.

    Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi National Park & Drive Back to Kigali

    Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

    You will head to the Bwindi National Park gate immediately after breakfast to get a briefing about the gorilla trek. The briefing will be conducted by the national park guide and will cover the basics on what to expect during the trek. It is at this point that you will be told which gorilla family to trek. It is likely that you will be joined by other visitors. The gorilla trek can take from few to many hours depending on how far the gorillas are inside the forest. After the gorilla trek, drive back to Kigali, Rwanda. The drive from Bwindi National Park to Kigali is estimated to take 5hrs.
