Set off on an 11-hour self-guided private tour to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle, travelling in comfort from London in a premium Mercedes with your personal chauffeur. Begin your journey at Stonehenge, one of the world’s most iconic and mysterious prehistoric sites. Walk among the ancient stones and explore the interactive Visitor Centre with its fascinating exhibits and archaeological treasures. Then head to Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, and a favourite residence of the late Queen Elizabeth II. 1Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is the world's oldest and largest continuously inhabited Royal Castle, home to HM Queen Elizabeth II. Visit the State Apartments used for Official State Visits and events with its amazing collection of art, armoury, tapestries and furniture. Paintings by the likes of Holbein, Van Dyck, Rubens, Rembrandt, Titian, Canaletto and Gainsborough, as well as frescoes, by Antonio Verrio. Wonder at St George's Chapel one of the finest examples of English Gothic architecture where Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, burial place of royalty and the spiritual home of the Order of the Garter. *Note St George's Chapel is closed for visits on Sundays. **As Windsor Castle is primarily an Official Royal Residence in use (and not just a visitor attraction strictly speaking) it is sometimes subject to last minute closures. We will always check opening schedule once you've booked the tour and will notify you of any planned closures in advance when possible.
