Escape to the desert outside Marrakech for a 1 hour camel ride in a small group on the rugged terrain of North Africa. Put on your protective headscarf and climb aboard your camel for a ride among the natural groves of palm trees and the changing light of the desert sky. Then, take a break in a Berber tent to enjoy a warm welcome, accompanied by a Moroccan tea and g cakes. This small-group trip, limited to 16 people, also includes air-conditioned round-trip transportation, and a sun protection scarf.

What to expect

Climb aboard a camel for an unforgettable ride in the open skies and the rugged landscape of the Moroccan desert near Marrakech. During your journey, you will enjoy fantastic landscapes and old-fashioned hospitality when you stop at a local family for tea and a snack.

Start your trip with a transfer from your hotel or riad or the starting point in Marrakech, leaving either at 12:00 or 2:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m., by minibus to the base where you will start your camel adventure. Listen to a short introductory presentation on camel safety and put on your supplied scarf (scarf designed to protect you from the sun), then get on your camel and head out into the desert.
