Yufuin Onsen is voted the number one tourist destination among Japanese girls. Surrounded by mountains, it has a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, making people feel incredibly relaxed. Additionally, there are many delicious dessert shops in Yufuin Onsen that drive many women crazy. The "sightseeing carriage" at Yufuin Onsen, which started over 30 years ago, has now become a well-known tourist attraction. The route starts at JR Yufuin Station, passes through Fuzanji Temple and Unagi Hime Shrine, and then returns to the station, taking about 60 minutes. The horses sway in the breeze as they graze. Yunotsubo Street is located at the foot of Yufudake. There are souvenir shops selling Oita specialties such as yuzu pepper and restaurants serving local delicacies such as fried chicken tempura on both sides of the street, attracting a constant stream of tourists. Additionally, the area near the Oita River, one street away, is a great walking destination.
