I will pick you up in your hotel
Once you arrive in Ha Giang City, rent a motorbike (rental fee included in the experience price) and go on a trip and motorbike briefing before you set off to Nam Dam village. You will be accompanied by a local Vietnamese guide who will show you the way. The 45km drive is stunning, passing through traditional villages, beautiful valleys, and climbing mountains. Along the journey, make plenty of stops to take pictures and give your bum a rest. :) Among the stops you make is the Fairy Bosom hills in Quan Ba and a geopark recognized by UNESCO. Spend the night in Nam Dam village with a host family. You will have the afternoon and evening to explore the village, go for a hike, help our host family prepare dinner, or just relax. Dinner includes local rice or corn wine, also called "happy water."
After breakfast at the homestay, prepare the bikes and set off for the next stage of your adventure. Climb up to Lung Khuy Cave, located on a mountaintop, to enjoy impressive views and explore the cave’s natural formations. Continue through scenic landscapes and stop at Lung Tam Village, a traditional hemp linen village, where you will observe the entire production process from start to finish and try rolling the cloth yourself. After crossing a mountain shortcut, stop in Yen Minh for lunch. In the afternoon, ride about 50km toward the Vietnam–China border to visit the Extreme North Point, a favorite highlight for many guests. If possible, pass through Dong Van on Sunday to experience the lively weekly highland market. End the day with a hot steam bath, massage, and dinner with “happy water” if you wish.
Setting off after breakfast, enjoy the most soothing part of the region. Proceed to the most beautiful pass in Vietnam, Ma Pi Leng. Another where you can take amazing photos. Stop in Mau Due for a coffee. This is the start of something your guide calls the "road of children." You'll see many of the minority children playing by the side of the road while their parents are working alongside the rocks. Have lunch in a tiny village called Du Gia, and (weather depending) go for a swim in a hidden waterfall. After the swim, it's time to return to Ha Giang city to enjoy a farewell dinner with local specialities and get some much-needed rest before the van journey back to Hanoi.
After breakfast at the hostel (bright and early), hop in the van back to Hanoi. The van departs at 7 am and will bring you back to the Old Quarter in Hanoi around 1 or 1:30 pm.
