Day 1: Journey into the Desert Meet your local guide in Mhamid village and prepare for the trek. Begin your camel ride into the desert, passing through scenic desert landscapes like tamarisk groves, dry riverbeds, and open dunes. Ride toward the Erg Lihoudi dunes, enjoying the peaceful rhythm of camel trekking and the vast, open views. Arrive at the desert camp set among the dunes of Erg Lihoudi. Enjoy a welcome tea with your hosts, relax in the camp, and explore the surrounding dunes on foot. Watch the sunset from the top of a dune—one of the most magical experiences of the Sahara. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner at the camp. Gather around the fire for music, drumming, and storytelling under the stars. Sleep in a traditional Berber tent or, if weather allows, outside under the open sky.

Wake early to witness the beautiful sunrise over the dunes. Enjoy a simple Moroccan breakfast at the camp. Begin the return journey to Mhamid by camel. Arrive back in Mhamid, concluding your desert adventure.
