What to expect

In this creative and inspiring workshop, you’ll explore the art of embroidered calligraphy, stitching your own initials with beautiful decorative techniques.

At the beginner level, you’ll:
Stitch your initials using stem stitch and French knots

Add a decorative frame in chain stitch

If you return for the intermediate level, you’ll:
Learn the satin stitch for a refined, filled-in effect

Decorate your lettering with beadwork for added elegance

Once your embroidery is complete, you’ll cut it from the fabric and frame it in a complimentary embroidery hoop to take home. The workshop takes place in a charming garden setting and concludes with a tasting of rosé wine and a light buffet.
No previous embroidery experience is needed for the beginner level — your instructor will guide you every step of the way.
