Trajan's Column commemorates Roman Emperor Trajan's victory over Romania. It was completed in AD 113 and it is most famous for its spiral bas relief, which artistically represents the wars between the Romans and Dacians. The structure is about 30 metres high and is made of Cararra marble.

The Forum of Nerva was the fourth and smallest of the imperial fora. Constructed in 85 AD by Emperor Domitian but officially completed and opened by his successor, Nerva, in 97 AD, hence its official name. This street had long served as a market area, especially for booksellers and cobblers; the new forum continued to serve as both a thoroughfare and as a monumental entrance to the larger Roman Fora.
