This is the grown and sexy version of our Mexico City Local Taco Tour — designed for travelers who want a night out with incredible food, smoky mezcal, and good company. It’s casual, fun, and social, perfect for adults looking to experience Mexico City nightlife through its most iconic flavors.
Over three hours, you’ll explore boutique taquerías (and don’t worry, we’ll stuff you at each one) and a dessert stop that highlights the modern side of Mexico City’s taco scene. Each locale we visit represents the new generation of chefs and taco entrepreneurs who are reinventing tradition. Along the way, we’ll taste distinct mezcals, sip a few beers, and end the night with churros. Join for a solo or experience, with friends, as a couple or book it privately for your group.

Start with a taste of southern Mexico: citrus-marinated pork slow-roasted in banana leaves, topped with pickled onions, plus a standout vegetarian option. Paired with smoky Espadín mezcal and a cold beer. Next, a Michelin-recommended taquería with an international twist—confit pork belly with hoisin, sriracha, and pickled vegetables. Enjoy a clean, bright mezcal joven. Then, smoke and fire: brisket or miso-marinated beef, plus a signature smoked avocado dish featured by the New York Times. Served with a Cupreata–Criollo mezcal blend, mineral and citrusy. We finish with fresh churros, chocolate or caramel, and café de olla—the perfect end to your Mexico City night.
