Next we will make our way to Ait Ben Haddou to visit its UNESCO world heritage site and explore the ancient ksar. The driving time is between 1 and 1.5 hours and once we arrive you will have the option of a guided tour of Ait Ben Haddou which will last about 1 to 1.5 hours.

Ouarzazate
Finally we will make our way to Ouarzazate where we will check into our accommodations for the night. Some optional sights in Ouarzazate include the Kasbah Taourirt, the Atlas Movie Studios and the Cinema Museum. From Ait Ben Haddou the driving time is less than one hour and then we will have the rest of the afternoon and evening to spend exploring Ouarzazate.

Day 2
Ouarzazate - Agdz - Zagora - Tamegroute - Erg Lihoudi

Embark on a thrilling journey through the desert as we make our way from Ouarzazate to the Sahara city of Zagora. Our first stop will be in Agdz for a break and food if you are getting hungry. The driving time from Ouarzazate to Agdz is approximately one hour.

Along the way, we'll take a pit stop in the charming town of Tamegroute to discover the ancient art of pottery making. The driving time from Agdz to Tamegroute is about 2 hours and we will spend about an hour learning about the art of making pottery in the desert.

But the real excitement begins when we leave the paved road behind and switch to a 4x4 vehicle for an epic adventure. Our final destination for the night? A cozy Berber camp nestled in the Erg Lihoudi dunes. Revel in the beauty of the setting sun during a camel ride before indulging in a traditional Moroccan meal and some soulful Berber music around a campfire. This is a trip you won't want to miss! The driving time from Tamegroute to Erg Lihoudi is approximately one hour. Once we have arrived we will have the rest of the evening to take a camel ride, have a welcoming pot of mint tea with snacks and explore the dunes at our leisure. Our final destination in the dunes of Erg Lihoudi will depend on the type of camp you have selected to book.

Erg Lihoudi - Marrakech

Get ready for an epic farewell as we embark on our final day of the excursion in the Sahara! We'll start the day with a delicious breakfast at the camp before we head out on a thrilling adventure through the enchanting Draa Valley. The driving time is 3 hours from Erg Lihoudi back to the Draa Valley where we will stop to have lunch.
