Luggage: Since this is a 2-day tour with flexible drop-off options (Antalya, Pamukkale, or Karahayıt), you are welcome to bring your luggage with you. It will be safely stored in our air-conditioned vehicle during the tour.
Your tour guide and driver will meet you at the reception of your hotel in Pamukkale or Karahayit, and you will continue to Karahayit Natural Park area, and visit the red springs and travertines.
The highlights of Hierapolis are Necropolis, Roman Baths, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Oil Factory, Frontinus Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium, Theater and Antique Pool. And then, You will take some photos from the nicest corners of Pamukkale.
After visited the Hierapolis Ancient City, you will continue to the White Travertines of Pamukkale. There will be free time (approximately 75-90 minutes) to explore the natural beauties of Pamukkale and swim at the white travertines. Then meet again with the guide, start walking in the middle of travertines from up to down without shoes and socks
You will stop at a traditional Turkish restaurant and take your complimentary lunch.
After lunch, you will have experience traditional handcraft workshop for get lecture about the special stones/metals of Pamukkale.
After breakfast we will start our day at Kaklik Cave. The cave was formed over 2.5 million years ago, during the Pliocene Period. The roof collapsed, allowing entrance. The maximum depth is 14 metres and inside there are several rimstone pools and waterfalls, which are thought to be beneficial in the treatment of skin diseases and arthritis. Several of the walls receive enough sunlight to grow moss and climbing plants. The cave will take around 30 minutes to explore, with wooden walkways leading through the 190-metre circle. Free time is given to take pictures.
The overall attraction is the scenery with the white sand and the different shades of blue in the water, which is rich in magnesium sulphate. It’s a must to take your camera gear for some memories. We recommend to take sandals to because of the harsh gravelly sand. The lake is surrounded by mountains and there is just one village around, that’s why the lake is very clean. In summer free time is given to take a swim in the lake. In winter you can wander around and taking pictures of the area.
