  Stop At: We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Tbilisi at 9:00 AM. Our journey takes us along the scenic Georgian Military Highway towards the Russian border. First stop: Ananuri Complex – a historic residence of the Argveti Dukes. Explore churches and towers from the 16th–17th centuries and enjoy stunning views of the Jinvali Reservoir. Next: Visit the unique confluence of two mountain rivers, famous for keeping their different colors even after merging. Cross Pass: Short stop at the “People’s Friendship” viewpoint, a Soviet-era landmark overlooking a dramatic gorge in the Caucasus Mountains. Kazbegi: Continue to the iconic Gergeti Holy Trinity Church at 2,170 meters above sea level, with breathtaking views of Mount Kazbek and its glacier.   Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble

  The Ananuri Fortress Complex is a historic feudal-era fortress dating from the 16th–18th centuries, located near the village of Ananuri in eastern Georgia.
